Clan XII

Clan 12 was founded June 7th 1998 by The Docter (aka Doc aka ReTCoD) and Pet_king, and was the first true RA2 clan in Denmark. At first we used the tag [12] but changed it to [XII] (romandigits for 12) because a lot of clans used numbers in their tag and why be like the others. After fooling around on servers for a while, we got a hold of SpEEdFrEaK and Epic, and Clan XII was now ready for some RA2 action. We played our first clanwar against AWOID Sunday August 6th 1998 (view clanwar info) and we won! We then set our hopes up to take out the best scandinavian RA2 clan - Clan 69. But just as we thought we got our butt kicked. And that's the beginning of Clan XII :)   A month later Cryzen joined Clan XII. He had been a friend of ours over the internet for a long time and with him in our forces Clan XII started to kick butt ;) But we never seemed to be able to kick our longtime foes Clan 69 (eventually we did, but they were not in top shape). I would like to use this oppertunity to say that personally I think that Clan 69 is the best RA2 clan in scandinavia ever, both in the game and on QuakeNET.   Throughout the years we've always been a clan that kept its members. Personally i think it's because we're basically nice people :) Those members who joined and didn't follow that path has left us almost immediately. Today two and a half year after Clan XII was founded Cryzen (although inactive) and myself is still members of Clan XII. My fellow founder Pet_king probably still would have been, but tragically he died in a car crash on his motorbike March 10th 2000 :( Special thanks to those who raised money for some flowers on his funeral, those who wrote their condolences on our messageboard and to all of QuakeNET who held 5 minutes of silence.   I've always liked to play RA2 on the internet and it has given me some great times through the years. And since I like to make homepages I've tried to give something back to the RA2 (and RA3) community by making some of the most popular leagues in scandinavia (SRA2L and SRA3L). And actually I'm the one who named ra2map10 arena 1 - Vig0 s Courtyard :)   As we come to and end I can only say I'm proud of having founded one of the best RA2 clans in scandinavia and to be in a clan with such good friendship.
